In 2007, PFI became one of the first firms in the country to achieve the accreditation “Chartered Financial Planners”, an achievement which we are justly proud of.
The Chartered Financial Planners status is considered to be the ‘gold standard’, held only by firms which demonstrate their professional commitment to raising standards of knowledge, capability and ethical practice.

Over the years we have constantly continued to ensure colleagues acquire and retain the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver the highest quality service and advice.
Most recently and in addition to our Chartered Status, PFI has become an “Associate” firm which demonstrates the adoption of professional standards set by the Personal Finance Society enabling us to stand tall behind a culture that places clients and staff at its heart.

As a firm we are proud to continue our efforts to demonstrate our professional standards and adhere to the following core principles:

  • 1. Act in the best interests of clients, using a customer charter to aid transparency
  • 2. Demonstrate integrity, probity and fairness by aligning with the code of professional ethics & conduct
  • 3. Comply with the spirit as well as rules of regulation
  • 4. Comply with the spirit as well as the rules of employment law
  • 5. Invest in your people by funding a policy of ongoing training and professional development
  • 6. Operate a clear diversity & inclusion policy, for both your staff and clients
  • 7. Operate a policy of corporate social responsibility
  • 8. Adhere to transparent governance standards and processes
